Ever Notice This?

You know that sign Marta Kober picks up in Friday the 13th Part 2?...

Well, I just realized tonight that its in Part 1 as well...
It was at the turnoff to the camp. Mrs. Voorhees blows by it in her jeep on the way to kill Annie.

It's not the exact same prop, but the one in Part 2 was clearly painted to resemble the one from the first film. Has a similar font, and the same red border.
This blew my mind. Who says they never cared about continuity!

That's all. Here's a recent photo of the Part 2 version.

  1. Good catch. Actually the first 4 films were very consistent with continuity in ways which were surprising. My best example is in Part 3 when Shelly abd Vera exit the store after encountering the bikers, if you look carefully you can see a sign that says "Ski Vernon Valley" and another that says "Newton Flea Market, Rte. 206". Newton is a small town in NW NJ not far from Part 1s filming location in Blairstown. Paer 3 was filmed in California...someone was on their game making it seem like it was in NW NJ, more than just using NJ license plates as is the norm.
